FormProtect® is particularly suitable for the construction of round reinforced concrete containers in the biogas sector, in agriculture and in water and wastewater supplies. All round containers can therefore be built using our system. This includes swimming pools, ice storage tanks and all kinds of water containers.
AGRICULTURE
BIOGAS:
Farm manure contains valuable plant nutrients that are added to the soil. In order to ensure optimal use of nutrients and to protect our environment, the proper storage of manure is therefore very important. This requires a high level of care and competence. We build our manure containers strictly in accordance with water management requirements. All of our systems are frost-proof and resistant to manure chemicals.

BIOGAS
APPLICATION POSSIBILITIES:
Open and gas-tight concrete containers for pre-pits, hydrolysis, fermenters, post-fermenters, final storage, leachate containers. Suitable as standard for temperatures up to 60°C and pH values > 4
The energy transition has been a constant topic for all of us for many years and we also want to make our contribution to more sustainable energy production. We are convinced that operating biogas plants is an important component in this process due to the possibility of storing gas and the associated demand-based production. In addition to the energy generation factor, the improved fertilizer quality of the digestate compared to normal liquid manure is also worth highlighting.
We create pre-pits, receiving and mixing containers, fermenters, secondary fermenters as well as final storage facilities or fermentation residue storage facilities, leachate containers and hydrolysis tanks for you.
We also provide thermal insulation for floor slabs and walls as well as concrete protection from a single source.

made of round steel up to Ø 16 mm. There is no static connection between the floor slab and the wall. The floor/wall joint is sealed with a joint tape approved by the building authorities.

ICE STORAGE
The ice storage tank is a reinforced concrete tank built with the FormProtect system, which is installed frost-proof beneath the ground surface. This storage tank is used for both heating (in winter) and cooling (in summer). It is an interesting alternative to the conventional geothermal heat pump.
Large spirals are installed in which a brine (a mixture of water and antifreeze) circulates. It extracts energy from the water and transfers it to a coolant within the heat pump. This coolant then changes from a liquid to a vaporous state. The vapor reaches a compressor, which uses the pressure to raise the temperature of the medium, which is above the flow temperature of the heating system.
When water freezes and turns into ice, crystallization energy is released, which can be used to heat water or for heating with the help of a brine-water heat pump. This released energy corresponds to the same amount that is used when heating water from 0 to 80 degrees Celsius.
The ice storage system can only be kept highly efficient if the water thaws again and again. In addition to the existing geothermal energy, an ice storage heating system is therefore combined with a simple solar system (air or solar absorber). The sun's heat thaws the storage system again and again, charging it with valuable energy.
When winter ends, the storage contents are largely frozen, making them available as a source of cold for the summer months.
The concrete tank has an overflow and can be built without insulation.

With our FormProtect formwork system, we can manufacture all round containers in reinforced concrete with PVC formwork – including special applications such as swimming pools.
RENOVATION
Renovierung – Restauration – Reparatur
With our FormProtect PVC formwork system, renovation measures can also be carried out.
First, the damaged concrete is removed and the contaminated reinforcing steel is cleaned. This is followed by a galvanic treatment before the PVC formwork is installed and filled with concrete.
This means that round structures can remain in operation for decades.
